Where

A hawen between water and the sun

The village is built on a spur of rock that rises from the intersection of two streams, Lavanzone and Crognolino.

The first building to the east is the church from the 1100s and dedicated to Saint Apollinaris.

The church has only one window in Byzantine style, but during the month of May the direct sunlight completely illuminates the inside of the church.

All the buildings, one of which is the old castle of the village, are connected to it.

Until the 70s, Campovecchio was inhabited by about 60 people. The village has plenty of water reserves.

On the property there is a spring (750 meters above sea level.), which is a water source for the whole village.

On the left and the right of the spur where it is built, part the property, there are two flowing rivers as a water source for various types of activities.
